How is the Spanish Corporate Program?

The Spanish-4-You Corporate program is fun, interesting and very effective. It was developed exclusively for our corporate clients. Aside from using a great book, the lessons are supplemented with vocabulary flashcards and dozens of big, poster-size color drawings. Furthermore, the program is adaptable to the specific needs of each business. The client gives us the terminology or phrases he/she needs to know and the teacher not only translates the information but she also will incorporate it into the lessons. It is practical and fun because the client and the teacher do real life role plays using the newly acquired information. We customize for professionals in all areas such as healthcare, law, accounting, manufacturing, politics and media.

Do you offer lessons at clients' offices?

We realize that most business people are extremely busy and they don't have time to drive to a language academy classroom. That is why we offer the convenience of instruction at clients' homes and offices at no extra charge. We offer instruction in Los Angeles and Orange County.

What are the hours of operation?

We provide teaching 7:00 AM-9 PM every day, including weekends. We don't charge extra for night or weekend sessions.

Who are the teachers?

All our teachers are young, professional, energetic and experienced with a passion for teaching. They are all native speakers of Spanish. They are all college graduates and some of them are credentialed. Depending on your area and needs, we will determine the best teacher for you. Before you sign up for lessons, you will get the teacher's bio that includes a picture.

Do you offer group or private sessions?

We offer both. Private sessions are great for corporate clients that need to learn very quickly and need a customized learning approach. Group sessions are recommended for students who want to learn in a more relaxed environment and enjoy sharing the class with other people. We recommend a maximum of 8 people per class so that everybody can receive personal attention.

Do clients need to have the same schedule every week?

Some clients that take private lessons prefer the same day/time every week while others prefer to play it by ear every week. Unlike our competitors, our cancellation policy is extremely flexible so don’t ever worry about being charged for a class you can't take. Furthermore, if you are going to be away for more than two weeks, you should really consider taking lessons over the phone so that you can maintain continuity in your learning. It really works! For group lessons, we recommend the same schedule to make it easy on everybody.

How fast do students learn?

It depends on each student's ability and desire to learn. It also depends on how many sessions you take per week. In general, clients say that they are able to hold basic conversations in Spanish, even with native speakers, after just three months of instruction. That would be the equivalent of 18-24 hours of instruction.

What materials and services are included?

A book, a notebook, pens, many color drawings and a box of colorful vocabulary flashcards. It also includes all the tests.

How are students tested?

At the start of the program, the student is given a preliminary placement test to assess his/her correct level. Throughout any of our programs, the students will be given a minimum of 4 written tests. At the end of any of our programs, the student will be given a final test. This final test will be both written and oral and it uses the standard Foreign Language Test. Your oral section will be recorded in a tape. We keep the originals and the student gets a copy of everything.

How often do you recommend tutoring?

Most people take one session per week. A few clients that want to learn a lot in a short time prefer sessions twice a week.

What is the cost?

We charge very reasonable rates. Unlike other institutions, we don't charge extra for going to clients' homes and offices. We also don’t charge extra for materials, taxes or administrative fees.

We offer 14 session packages which include absolutely everything: preliminary placement test, instruction at your place, manual, vocabulary flashcard box, periodic testing and a final test digitally recorded and assessed.

What is the payment procedure?

With so many clients, it is important for our business to maintain a smooth bookkeeping process. Therefore, we require that clients pay for 12 hours upfront. Unlike the competition, our cancellation policy is very flexible. If the client needs to cancel classes for any reason, the money for unused lessons will be refunded within 2 weeks. That is great peace of mind because we know life can be very unpredictable sometimes. Aside from personal or business checks, we also offer the convenience of paying with a credit card through Paypal, at an additional nominal fee to offset charges.

There are so many Spanish programs. How do I know yours is the best for me?

We understand that this can be a tough decision for most people especially since every Spanish academy or Spanish teacher will say they are the best. That is why we encourage people to take various free demos from various institutions, including ours, to see what they have to offer. It is important that you ask if they created their own program or if they just use a generic book/handouts.
