Our Founder
Ms. Laura Zayas was born in Puerto Rico. An enthusiastic academic, she currently holds two Bachelor Degrees; one in International Relations and the other in French, both from Tufts University.
She also holds two Master's Degrees; one in Education of Foreign Languages from UCLA, and the other in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Cal State, Fullerton.
Ms. Zayas has been teaching Spanish for over 15 years. She has extensive experience working as a language instructor in both public and private schools. After teaching children for so many years, she decided to turn her attention to a new niche: professional adults who wanted to communicate effectively with the growing Latino community. Laura quickly realized that working professionals had unique language needs for the workplace that could not be taught with the traditional Spanish text-books. That encouraged her to develop her own teaching system that could accommodate any type of business or individual need. Her system is highly effective but fun. It allows the busy corporate students to work at their own pace and in a comfortable environment.
